Ron DeSantis boldly proclaimed that he would win Iowa in a virtual speech for members of the Virgin Islands GOP Committee on Monday. DeSantis dismissed his fellow GOP rivals Nikki Haley and Mike Pence, saying that Republican voters would not choose them. He said that his campaign estimated that 20% of Republicans would vote for Donald Trump and 35% would definitely not vote for Trump. That left 45% still figuring out who to vote for. DeSantis said early voters in Iowa and New Hampshire would vote for him because “I have a record of being a very strong leader.” “We’re going to win Iowa,” DeSantis said, according to the Miami Herald. “We’re way ahead of any other candidate who’s won the caucuses in the past.”A recent Iowa State University poll showed DeSantis with 17% support in Iowa behind Donald Trump who had 55% support.

The pizzas look more appealing than Judas Pence.

The taco pizza is pretty good (doesn’t seem to have been touched judging from the photo). Pizza Ranch has a fairly good lunch buffet with pizza, chicken, and salad bar.

They were probably told they couldn't touch the pizza until Pence finished yammering. That's likely the only way they could get people to stay for free pizza.

Anything could happen. Don’t forget the Steal of 2016, Part I- in which Ted Cruz fraudently stole the Iowa Caucus. That should have been anulled or redone.

“Rigged elections!” Is this going to be the excuse?

No, but it may be the REASON.

On the other hand, President Trump is flat kicking Ronnieboi’s ass in Iowa. With the new concerns about foreign affairs among the electorate — and Trump’s experience and excellent track record, vs. Ronnie’s naivete and cluelessness, I think the President will notch a win in Iowa. Ronnie may capture First Loser status though. 😂

In fake polls maybe. Certainly not in grassroots donations.

I hope you take solace in that when Rob loses, takes off his elevator boots, and flies back to obscurity in Florida.

You can add it to your home page!

At least I didn't have to abandon every conservative principle I've ever held to support him.

And Florida will remain a shining beacon of freedom after Trump again gets his clock cleaned by a potato.

It was very fishy something about new software and poor training. It was very fishy and they waited months to finally announce results.

I’ve never voted for a potus that I agreed with 100%. Ever.

Was it a conservative principle of yours to cut Social Security and Medicare?

—> And Florida will remain a shining beacon of freedom

It’s also a crime ridden overcrowded state with ridiculous property insurance rates. I have had lifetime Floridians tell me they left for those reasons.

First, I’m in the camp that says we will probably be under a state of emergency and there will be no election.

If there is, get back to me.

Fiscal restraint used to be a conservative issue until Trump redefined conservatism as spending like a drunk Democrat, banning guns, and throwing gay parties at Mar-a-Lago.

Still at the end of the day, you can post some fund-raising memories on your home page to memorialize DeSantis’ campaign.

DeSantis will still be governor so I can continue posting about his conservative accomplishments in Florida.

Trump will likely be in prison or under house arrest so those "Trump Family Train / Q --Trust the Plan" threads will still consist primarily of cat pics.

Interesting, you got zotted on October 8 for claiming President Trump was responsible for the botched Afghanistan debacle and now you are back and immediately lying about President Trump again?

President Trump has had multiple campaign events in Iowa and they have been well attended. As far as the Des Moines event... The AP which is as anti-Trump as most of the media reported that 1500 people showed up.

>> In fake polls maybe.

How exactly are the polls quoted earlier “fake polls”?

The polls weren’t actually taken? The poll results were made up? Is that what you’re saying? If so, how do you know?

Or is your definition of a “fake poll” “any poll that shows President Trump ahead of Ronni-boi”?

He very well might. Cruz won Iowa, if you recall. And Trump’s negative comments about Governor Reynolds, who is popular in the state, don’t help him.

Will that parlay into the nomination? It might; it didn’t for Cruz.
