As far as Jordan goes, two words: Black September.

Egypt has had a relatively small (by comparisons to Gaza) Palestinian diaspora since 1948. However, given that Hamas originally split off from the Muslim Brotherhood (from what I recall), I can understand why they’re wary of taking more when Egypt already is playing host to millions of refugees from various other conflicts.

Jordan for sure. It wasn’t pretty at all.

Fun fact: The GDP per person in Gaza is roughly 1.5x that in India.

Thank God a similar proportion of India’s population are not homocidal maniacs.

Maybe it would help to get Gazans hooked on a more “pacifying” drug than captalon.
