“The Russian Federation took part of the fleet from Crimea and is unlikely to go to a new trade blockade - British intelligence

After a series of powerful Ukrainian strikes on the Black Sea Fleet, Russia withdrew many of its ships and submarines from occupied Sevastopol, including missile carriers, and moved them to other basing areas further east, in particular to Novorossiysk. Because of the risk of heavy losses, Moscow is unlikely to decide on a new trade blockade in the Black Sea

This is stated in the operational summary of the military intelligence of Great Britain, published on October 14. The department noted that after a series of strikes against Ukraine in August and September 2023, the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation most likely strengthened its defensive and reactive position”
