The naïveté is astounding. Around the world, it is unlikely any national politician -- or international -- can be said to be a "great guy." While misleading "propaganda has been used throughout history," our own nation has done the same. Unless one believes Biden is a "great guy."
On other threads, some point out that Russia has nuclear weapons pointing at us, but always fail to note that we have quite a similar number pointing at them. And specifically, as related to US policy, today's naïveté is "astounding." Read our US stance:

Russia is a lifeboat for Christian civilization. Lifeboats are not nice places. No one gets in them for pleasure, but only because all alternatives are even worse. Unlike Hungary, which is a nicer place, Russia happens to be a lifeboat with nuclear weapons. That’s why its stupid to demonize them. Unfortunately there’s no shortage of stupid or malicious people, including at FR.
