4th Geneva Convention Relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War, Part 3, Article 1, Section 28:
"The presence of a protected person (aka civilian noncombatant) may not be used to render certain points or areas immune from military operations."
“The presence of a protected person (aka civilian noncombatant) may not be used to render certain points or areas immune from military operations.”
But it worked against Israel, due to pressure from the ‘World Community’ and especially Israel-hating Democrats and also, and only a bit less, Israel-hating Republicans.
"The presence of a protected person (aka civilian noncombatant) may not be used to render certain points or areas immune from military operations."
One might wonder, “So what?”
Pretty sure that Hamas, wasn’t present at the formation of the GC, isn’t a government that enter into an agreement regarding the GC, and has clearly shown that they have no regard for what the GC might say, or even how civilized people behave.
I think this is a situation where limbs (civilians) may need to be removed in order to save the patient. I know if it was one of my family members that suffered under Hamas I could care less what tactics were used to destroy them once and for all.
