I suspect we don't have nearly as much as we'd like to think.
Ukraine has been quite taxing on our munitions.
All part of the plan.
We were drained of munitions, so we couldn’t come to the rescue of Israel or Taiwan.
I fear you may be correct. FJB.
Scary, but it’s a wakeup call. Having been close to the process of mfg. 155 rounds in the 1970s, I can tell you that it’s no easy task to ramp up if you’ve haven’t maintained the infrastructure, (steel production, forging systems, machine tools, etc.) Our machine tool industry rotted away in the ‘70s and ‘80s, just for starters. Later, in the “aughts”, the only country that could produce the automotive engine lines I worked on were the Germans and the Japanese, (and the latter were second-rate at best).

Given the incompetence of Biden, he may have compromised our nation’s security by mismanaging our munition supply. This is a time that is ripe for China’s capture of Taiwan. That would be disaster for the West because Taiwan is the major source of semiconductors used in our vehicles.
