I remember our Junior High School field trips in Ithaca, NY in the early 60s: a geology trip where we saw glacial striations and glacial moraine, to a dairy to see where milk came from, and a fun trip to Taughannock Falls State Park. Give me the TRULY Good Old Days!

I remember a field trip to the “Uncle Remus” Museum in Eatonton, Georgia.

And another one to the Blue Bell Creamery.

Every parent should hold their child home at school that day. And on every day in my opinion. Parents! Do what is necessary to get your child out of the public school system!
