These days you could leave your phone at home, go commit a crime, and use the fact that your phone was NOT near the scene of the crime as an alibi.

I always take my phone to church and leave it there while I am out committing crimes etc. Then when I am finished, I go back to the church get my phone, pray to God and go home.
