In order to delay the vote on a continuing resolution, Jamaal Brown pulled a fire alarm.
Socialist Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) pulled the fire alarm in a House office building Saturday as Democrats tried to delay a bipartisan vote on a Republican stopgap spending bill.His excuses were total bullsh*t and have continued to get more and more so.The wild incident in the Cannon Building was caught on camera and confirmed by several witnesses.
“I was rushing to make a vote, I was trying to get through a door. I thought the alarm would open the door,” he said.democrats were struggling to delay the vote“I didn’t mean to cause confusion . . . I didn’t know it was going to trip the whole building.”
He also added: “I want to be very clear, this was not me, in any way, trying to delay the vote. It was the exact opposite — I was trying urgently to get to a vote, which I ultimately did.”
The move came as Democrats were desperately employing tactics to delay the vote, including Democratic Leader Rep. for their Senate cohorts to engineer a new bill that contained Dems
most desired measure.....more Ukraine funding.

He pulled the alarm to cause pandemonium. He knew he could do it because everything in the world, everyone in the world, every situation is in a concentric ring around him.
He doesn’t think he’s above the law. To him and other democrats there is no law that applies to him. None. And now he doesn’t even have to wear a suit.
They don’t know anything that we know. They have no idea how a debit card works. They don’t know how to buy gas. They don’t know the price of milk. They don’t know what 5 dollars mean. They don’t know days or minutes are. Pulling the alarm adds about an hour to a vote and when he said “I was on my way to vote” that’s all a congressman need to say to be exempt from any real law.

You can only hope his constituents realize what he is and don’t vote for him again which seems to be the SOP of box trained democratic party members. And I can hope it will be seen and looked at for other states and all parties.
Up here in Washington we have one of the most liberal arrangements in all 50 states. We have a county (King) and a partial anywhere in the state, normally Pierce, that controls the entire state for voting purposes on everything the liberals can get on a ballot if the normal turnout happens. And many times if something didn’t happen on the ballot the Seattle or King county legislatures will vote it in and get the rest of the state to foot the bill one way or another. (A perfect example is the Sea Hawks football stadium)
King/Pierce - 1,938,482
Rest of the state - 2,844,132
And everyone here is liberal and stupid as they can be with how they handle the state.
Additionally we gave you Murray and Cantwell for the senate and in the house of the 10 districts represented in the state 8 are liberal. Of the two republican districts they are in eastern Washington and encompass a combined 543,653 votes, less than a third of King/Pierce at around 28%. Sorry...
