Trump had lots of attorneys fighting it in the courts. Recounts are useless when the people running the recounts rigged the election. It is is impossible to fight that, when everyone necessary from poll workers to judges are in on it.
The fact is, the corruption in both parties, federal and state public administrations, was greater than any effort to fight the vote fraud. What rank and file Republicans and conservatives do not want to admit, and largely still have not admitted, is we all missed it until long after it was too late. Saying Trump lost trivializes what happened.
