The odd thing about billionaires wanting a drastically shrunken population is that it would diminish the value of wealth in the form of physical and financial assets. Meanwhile, wealth in the form of useful human skills would rise, with the wealthy having to pay more to employ them or otherwise hire their services.

This was the pattern in Europe after the Black Death, with the catastrophic loss of population making land and agricultural production relatively cheap and labor expensive. This touched off a wave of changes that ended the Medieval world and the beginning of the Renaissance.

The scenario described of billionaires plotting global depopulation would make sense only if the poor, uneducated, and troublesome could be preferentially eliminated.

You've rightly pointed out that ideas have consequences. There are some people who can see consequences and others, ie., the billionaires, who cannot. It appears that NWO types are those who cannot see the consequences of their ideologies when applied to civilizations and people and this accounts for the catastrophic consequences rendered by Communism, Fascism, Socialism, and Progressivism. The Great Reset--applied to people and civilizations-- has already wrought terrible consequences and will cause even more.

The mindset of the billionaires is that they are willing to reduce themselves to millionaire status if they can reduce you to absolutely nothing. It’s about creating a hegemony that cannot be broken.
