Attack On Europe: Documenting Russian Equipment Losses During The 2022 Russian Invasion Of Ukraine

This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When a vehicle is captured and then lost in service with its new owners, it is only added as a loss of the original operator to avoid double listings. When the origin of a piece of equipment can't be established, it's not included in the list. The Soviet flag is used when the equipment in question was produced prior to 1991. This list is constantly updated as additional footage becomes available.

Won’t swarms of attack drones someday be met by swarms of smaller, faster, hunter drones?

Clouds of drones, half seeking a target in the distance and carrying a payload of explosives, and half being tiny pistol drones seeking out, hugging, and killing the bomber drones.

Condolences...

“Likely, yet another successful hit on the Kursk-Khalino Airbase. Earlier, the Russian MoD claimed to intercept Ukrainian UAVs. The Flightbomber channel now extends its condolences to the Russian servicemen”

There has already been some drone on drone kills in this conflict in Ukraine. Both sides are tooling up to greatly increase drone production.

I know they are bumping each other but someday there will be elaborate micro-sensors, as guardian drones seek out hostile drones.

Counter drone is a big priority now. People are likely already testing, or even using such special purpose drone hunters. Lots of innovation occurring.

ZELENSKY'S 'BAD MOMENT'

The Ukrainian leader resorts to lies and threats at the tail end of a failing counteroffensive

"The reality is that Volodymyr Zelensky’s battered army no longer has any chance of a victory."

"It’s all lies," the source told Hersh. "The war is over. Russia has won. There is no Ukrainian offensive anymore, but the White House and the American media have to keep the lie going."

“In Latvia they want to close all Russian-language public media until 2026. The new National Security Concept of the country contains such a clause. The document has already been sent to the Seimas and the President’s Office.”

https://twitter.com/NOELreports/status/1706022730066178445

Latvia looking to shut down FSB/GRU propaganda in their country. This is after passing a law requiring Latvian language instruction in their schools, angering Russian speakers who refused to assimilate. They also passed a law requiring Russian citizens who wish to continue living in Latvia to learn Latvian.

Imagine the screams of racism if the USA required immigrants to learn our language!

Black Sea Fleet HQ burns:

Russia's battered Military's chances of victory have been declining since the first few weeks of this latest invasion, early last year."

The Doom that Putin has brought onto Russia is truly historic. Nagorno-Karabakh is only the start of the implosion of his Ruskii Mir (his version of a Reich that will last a thousand years).

“In Latvia they want to close all Russian-language public media until 2026.”

They have been on an intense spree de-russifying the country, since Russia’s 2022 invasion of the Ukraine, tearing down old monuments and proscribing the use of Russian language in school. They have a large ethnic Russian minority that was pretty pushy and threatening about Latvia being re-absorbed into Russia (fed by the Russian language media from Russia).

Although Russian attitudes in the Baltics and beyond may be getting qualms or a clue, they are still far from where they need to be to secure a lasting peace.

I had to laugh when I saw this on a pro-Russia thread earlier today:

"In addition, a missile aimed at the HQ of the Black Sea Fleet was shot down. Fragments of the missile caused some damage but no casualties have been reported."

This was just one lie in a long article filled with lies and distortions that essentially repeated "Russia accomplished everything, Ukraine nothing" over and over. I think some of these people refuse to view or believe anything but pro-Russia, Kremlin approved content.

“I think some of these people refuse to view or believe anything but pro-Russia, Kremlin approved content.”

There is a pronounced Russian mindset that is different from a lot of the West. At some level, they don’t fully process that things are going against Russia. They keep rooting for the home team, saying what they are supposed to say with cultural peer pressure (and Secret Police), and to some degree kidding themselves.

As such, it is going to be a more shocking adjustment, when they are forced to accept defeat and humiliation.

The Grain must flow.

GrainCentral.com reports:

“According to Ukraine Infrastructure Minister three more ships are on their way to Chornomorsk and Pivdennyi ports (2 of the 3 around Odessa) for loading. The bulk carriers will ship 127,000 tonnes of agricultural products and iron ore to China, Egypt and Spain along the temporary corridor established by the Ukrainian Navy.

Poland’s President has called for a de-escalation of the dispute over grain imports with Ukraine, saying it shouldn’t overshadow economic cooperation between the two nations.

Slovakia and Ukraine have agreed to establish a licensing system for grains trade, with the ban on imports of wheat, maize, rapeseed and sunflower from Ukraine to be lifted once the mechanism is in place. Ukraine has agreed to remove its complaint against Slovakia at the WTO”

Anton Gerashenko posted on X that the Black Sea Fleet HQ building is not suitable for restoration.

The fire burned all day.
