One of the unfortunate biproducts of the Trump big tent is that it has mainstreamed the Larouche type fringe nutjobs. That helped him beat Hillary but not much else so far. Time will tell what happens to the GOP after Trump completes his last political rodeo in 2024.

While I could be wrong, I think he will be in prison before the next election unless he cuts a deal with prosecutors.
