Great question. Pre Ike I believe that America was a force for good. The assassination of JFK started America down a course which luckily Ronald Reagan was able to succeed in peacefully defeating the Soviet Union.
LBJ and Ford both were Deep State tools. Was this why Nixon had to go? After all he was playing the China Card to break the Soviet Union. Deep State needs a Bad Man..... no Bad Man no Deep State!
After the fall of the Soviet Union I think the Deep State searched for a new Bad Man to use as a scare tactic for additional funding. In the last 20 years America has used externally the Colour revolution to create change in legal governments. Now it appears that this Deep State tool has been turn inward on Americans.
So we may have defeated the Soviet Union and won the Cold War, but then the War on Terrorism started. America has become what Ike warned about.......
I think the folks of Europe would agree that the US was a force for good.
The government of Japan would probably agree—as would Korea.

If you could point to a period of 80 years in the past couple of centuries where the primary forces in the world were at relative peace to the degree we have been since the end of WWII, I would believe your theories.
The standard of living across the world in the American Empire is significantly better than it’s ever been.
There is an awful lot of pro eastern propaganda running around these days. Folks like yourself spend a lot of time gazing at the pus coming our of your own navel instead of looking around at the world we live in and how much better it is today than it was 100 years ago.
