The only scenario I see is that Biden gives an address to say father time has caught up with him and he is stepping aside. During the address he will pardon Hunter and himself for all real or potential crimes that they committed. Otherwise, Biden will not give up the pardon power until its ripped from his dead, cold hands.

The only catch is they better explain it to him in short and simple words—otherwise he will have know idea what his marching orders are...
