(Video) - Russia's Invasion of UKRAINE has caused Major Problems for the Russian Economy as Trade with Europe & the West has collapsed and Changes to the Global Supply Chain caused by the SANCTIONS have caused further problems. The value of the Russian Ruble has COLLAPSED over the past 12 months. On 14th August the value of the Ruble fell to more than 100 against the US Dollar for the FIRST TIME IN HISTORY. As a direct result the Russian Central Bank called an Emergency Meeting and Hiked Interest Rates by 350bps to 12.0%. The immediate result was an increase in the value of the Ruble however over the past 2 weeks the value has started falling again and is now heading back towards 100 to $1. Thus, Putin NEEDS the high-tech stuff for his missiles, and war machine. Russia can only do war, nothing else. So if you prevent Russia to have the tools to making its war machine work, basically you have eliminated Russia.

I understand what you are thinking but the best of Russia’s young and creative people and the accomplished and advanced people would not want to live in and devote their lives and energies to a frozen, stagnant society when so many cutting-edge countries with large budgets and investment opportunities and high standards of living are begging for them and offering them the paths to test their potential to the limits.
Russia would have to resort to forcing their best to stay, just as in the past, the world would not be allowed to tempt them away.
