In the aftermath of Ukraine’s failed counteroffensive, President Volodymyr Zelensky decided to replace Defense Minister Alexey Reznikov, who was mired in multiple accusations of corruption in his Ministry.
This comes as Kiev needs to demonstrate to the Western powers that finance the country that the democratic institutions are alive and well – even though it is unclear whether elections will take place.
Zelensky couldn’t get his first pick choices for substitute, because some applicants wanted to take their own teams to the Ministry. By choosing the head of the State Property Fund (SPF), Rustem Umarov, he felt he made a safe and loyal choice.
So it comes as a bit of a shock to find out that, less than a week after he was appointed, Umarov and the foundation he ran are said to already be under investigation by the Ukrainian authorities.…..
Ukraine is one corrupted $hole, common knowledge for decades….birds of the feather ( senile Joe) stick together….getting clearer every day ( to the uninformed).
“Ukraine’s New Defense Minister, Rustem Umerov, Is Already Under Investigation for Corruption”
Expected - why else would he get the job?
“when do Americans wake up and put two and two together?”
Half the country are morons and they vote. We’re importing more voting morons daily.
The SBU and neo-nazis won’t want this guy.
He was involved in settlement talks with the Russians shortly after the invasion started ( talks that were scuttled at the order of Boris Johnson and prob the Bidenistas)
This guy was poisoned by the Russians.
When is Zelensky going to be investigated? He didn’t work for all those mansions.
We want peace, and an end to the bidenite Ukraine circus!!!
Rustem if you got ‘em.
We should not forget to mention their names in all this.
At least they are investigating it. In the USA and Russia when you get investigated for “corruption” it means you committed political crimes.
