Just In: Speaker McCarthy Says He Won’t Open Impeachment Inquiry Against Joe Biden without Floor Vote
The Gateway Pundit ^ | September 1, 2023 | Cristina Laila

It appears McCarthy is backing down after claiming he will look at opening a Biden impeachment inquiry without a floor vote since several Republican lawmakers are not convinced there is enough evidence of Biden corruption.

Because bank statements, informants, witnesses, credible whistleblowers, emails, WhatsApp messages and documents from Hunter Biden’s laptop from hell isn’t enough evidence.

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) said he will not open an impeachment inquiry without a formal vote on the House floor.

House Republicans currently have a slim majority of 222 to 212 and one vacancy.

McCarthy is now backing down as he continues to kick the can down the road.

Yikes. America’s uniparty is mocking Stalin and Mao,”hold my beer.”

Do they ever do what the people demand? Will they dump Trump if he becomes president again?

Yeah, because if the Republicans are good at something, it’s “strategy.”

We told you all so McCarthy is a soggy milquetoast POS.

Suck on that, those that backed him. He’s protecting the most corrupt POS ever sitting in the white house. That’s his legacy!!!

Biden is one man.

Trump is one man.

Focus on the forest of over 330 million Americans and not on two old near centennial trees.

Proper basic budgeting is the first priority. More money for other things can be voted for after clear needs are funded.

“Impeachment is not a waste of time. Besides being obligatory Constitutionally, it is the only way the Reps can force the MSM to cover the Biden Family crimes.”

Hunter’s habits were well known in November 2020. Hunter was known to pass money to his dad. The prosecutor firing had a bad smell. Joe will never serve a day in prison as an inmate because he is a deeply demented old man whom Democratic judges will rule is not legally competent to stand trial. His lawyers will use the Pinochet escape technique.

It doesn’t matter. The main thing is electing Trump to the WH. Election fraud is the only way the Dems win.

I’m certainly not a fashion maven but I never understood the blue suit with brown shoes thing. Jeans with brown shoes works but blue suits just don’t seem to work it... brown shoes work with khaki or greens is a better match.

“Hes uniparty Why the surprise”

He’s heavily financed, curried by lobbyists and and he’s probably deeply invested in the Ukraine conflict at the 1st tier or 2nd tier portfolio level. Why would he step on his investments?

Republicans just seem to have an aversion to playing offense, even when they have good reason to. They always look for excuses not to do things to move the conservative agenda forward.

I agree that they occasionally act to block the Dems but the problem is the party is infested with RINOs and weak pols who are terrified of the media and/or have no interest in forming a unified front against to achieve conservative goals.

Impeaching Biden is a necessity in view of his obvious corruption and profiting from his high office. If that’s not impeachable than it makes you wonder what is.

The only issue that appears to unify Republicans is taxes. They don’t get worked up about much of anything else.

Amen to that. Holding people accountable and the pursuit of justice are never a waste of time.

Just like he dodged the debt ceiling issue.

McCarthy probably just following orders from puppet master Paul Ryan, the de facto speaker. McCarthy is a follower, not a leader.

Pelosi set a standard by which any president could easily be impeached. That standard is a threat to the Executive Office of the President.Makes it much weaker.

McCarthy will go 180 in the other direction.....strengthening
the office for Trumps next term...

just sayin’...

People in any job will tend to do nothing if their employer is ok with it.

GOP reps have two employers: the people who give them money and those who give them votes. There is some overlap, but the big donors are fewer in number but bigger in individual contributions and demand specific deliverables in return for their patronage while the votes are mostly static and reliable and will usually be there no matter what based on the alternative.

Doing nothing, meaning blocking left wing legislation, is important, costs them nothing, it’s easy to do and pleases both of their employers. Passing conservative legislation on the other hand only matters if it mollifies their monied supporters who will abandon them if they don’t deliver. Everyone else gets the shaft because they’ll vote for them anyway even if they don’t deliver. It’s a shi—y situation.

Enjoyed reading your reply. Very astute post.

They dance to the tune of the big donors, no question about that. What is particularly troublesome IMO is the Republican penchant for deceiving their voters. They always over promise and under deliver. Most people would not continue to purchase any product that repeatedly failed to meet expectations. But as you say, they vote for them anyway. Go figure.

One notable GOP scam is to tell their voters — every cycle — that they need bigger majorities to get anything done. If only you’ll elect more Republicans then we can get things done. Amazing how effective that disingenuous ploy works for them.
