Ukraine continues to shell residential areas of the Donbas… this week has been particularly horrifying as shells rained down on the city of Donetsk… injuring multiple children.
Patrick Lancaster reports from Donetsk.
We’ll hear more and more of these type of attacks and advancements on the battlefield becomes less likely

Ukraine has a history of shelling civilian areas of Donetsk whenever they want to try to divert Russian artillery resources from elsewhere to the Donetsk area. This falls into that pattern so I’m guessing the Ukrainian command is “feeling pain” elsewhere and want a little relief.
Wow. Donetsk. Ukraine/USA Biden slaughter killing Ukrainians and Russians. For what? Is Russia going to exit Donbas because the Donetsk civilians are getting slaughtered by Nato arms? No. Where are the peacemakers already?
Biden and Zelensky lining up for $40 Billion more worth of death arms. $40 Billion more.
Morally bankrupt USA well on its way to financial bankruptcy too. Stop this already. Before its too late.
The point is to get Russia to escalate, with civilian bombing of their own.
The city of Donetsk is at the edge of the front line. The city proper contains the artillery, command, logistics infrastructure, security services, all the “back end” of an army.
Counterbattery fire against Russian artillery could easily endanger civilians. Just one consequence of trying to run a military operation from a large city.
It's almost as if propaganda is purposefully emotive...
Donetsk City is at the edge of the front line and it contains the “back end” of the Russian forces on that sector of the front. This includes the artillery, ammo dumps, logistics operations. reserves, HQs, etc.
All you have to do is look at a map.
Isn’t it nice that the Ukraine has never injured or killed a child? I don’t know that they have ever killed a Russian. Ah, the media, so one way.
But when Russians do it, it’s okay.
The delusion in this thread is amazing.

So all those years prior to the war the Ukes were just practicing for when the Russians would show up? Makes sense.
The usual case pre-2022 was the DNR people would start harassing fire vs the Ukrainian lines, and the Ukrainians would shoot back.
If the DNR units sited their guns in Donetsk city, well that was the source of fire.

Nothing new, Ukraine’s been doing that since 2014. But they are ethnic Russians so it’s ok with the west.
The problem with Euromaiden Revolutionaries, and all revolutionaries, is that they can’t simply let voters secede. They are compelled to kill anyone who disagrees with them.
