LOL. You mean when he was going like this?:

Ya. Said he was getting over a cold or something. I was saying to the screen, then take two aspirin and try it again in the morning. ;O)
I am glad to hear the ATF got slapped though.

Several years ago several working companions and I went to a Big local gun show. Right inside the door was a guy at a table selling a gizmo that turned your semi auto into a crank machine gun. “Only Twenty Dollars!”
I took one look and backed away. All the men I was with bought one.

Several weeks later I asked each one how the little gizmo worked.

“Not worth a S**T! A waste of good money!” was the reply.

Good call on your part to avoid the garbage gimmicks. I suspect some of the stuff sold is a potential sting operation for ATF. Over the last 24 years, the money I've spent for travel, parking, admission to gun shows far exceeds the money I spent at the show or money saved on "deals" vs just buying from the local FFL.

Federal law highly regulates the manufacture, sale, and ownership of fully automatic weapons in the United States... in direct violation of the Second Amendments express prohibition on exactly this kind of law. The NFA of '34 was only passed due to it being a TAX and it wasn't until subsequent laws, namely the GCA of '68 and the misnamed FOPA of '86, that this became and outright ban on certain classes of firearm and for certain prohibited people.

Further, the BATFE tasked with enforcing these unConstitutional laws was moved by Pres. Bush from the IRS... where it had tenuous legitimacy when acting solely as a tax collection service, to the DoJ... where it doesn't even have that.

They've been working on expanding and obfuscating such a SIMPLE Right for a hundred years.

Glad to see push back wherever and whenever it occurs.
