Donald Trump Open to Choosing Vivek Ramaswamy as Potential Vice President
The Gateway Pundit ^ | August 30, 2023 | Jim Hoft

In a recent interview with Glenn Beck, CEO of Blaze Media, former President Donald Trump spoke on a variety of subjects, including his views on potential running mates.

Trump expressed openness to the idea of selecting entrepreneur and political commentator Vivek Ramaswamy as a potential vice president, praising his intelligence and enthusiasm but cautioning about his sometimes controversial stances.

During the one-on-one discussion, Beck asked Trump about considering Ramaswamy as a possible VP.

“You said that you weren’t going, but you would be watching the debate for a vice president. Have you thought of Vice President Ramaswamy?” asked Beck.

“I think he’s great. Look, anybody that said I’m the best president in a generation… I have to like a guy like that,” said Trump.

“I can’t get upset with him but he’s a smart guy. He’s a young guy. He’s got a lot of talent. He’s a very very very intelligent person. He’s got good energy and he could be in some form of something,” Trump added.

However, the former President also offered a note of caution. “He’s starting to get out there a little bit. He’s a little bit getting a little bit controversial. I got to tell him, be a little bit careful, because some things you have to hold in just a little bit, right?” Trump advised, emphasizing that Ramaswamy’s controversial statements could be a potential issue.

Vivek Ramaswamy is facing growing scrutiny for his apparent inconsistencies on various political and social issues.

“By their standards Donald Trump himself was never lawfully President since his mother was Scottish.”

His mother became a US citizen in 1942. Donald Trump was born in 1946.

only if Ivana and Melania had not been naturalized when the kids were born. I was not, so my sons aren’t eligible even though their mother was a NBC

Fortunately for your sons' future presidential aspirations, nobody is buying this made-up birther nonsense.

I really hope he picks Larry Elder a proven conservative and fighter.

Tell that to Gavin Newsom.

Dumbass California Republican primary voters manged, with Larry Elder, to pick the only guy who could lose to him.

And lose he did.

I want to see leftist heads explode if Trump nominates Vivek as Attorney General.

I believe that Trump has been, and will be again, one of the greatest presidents in US history.

First three years? I'll agree with you.

But during 2020, he fumbled the political handling of the coronavirus pandemic, especially with Dr. Fauci. Oh. And BLM riots across the nation that time too. Some of that was not his fault. But I needed to see more of an assertive federal response. I know that they were Leftist sympathizers and they were not appeased until Biden took power. So that part was unfortunate. But as the POTUS, he had to play with the hand he was dealt. Lincoln prevailed and the Union held during the Civil War. So this was where Trump failed, unfortunately.

He knows where the CA corruption is and the Democrats will swap out Joe last minute just like LBJ didn’t run for health concerns. The two most racist presidents have much in common.

You are confused. Newsom defeated Republican Brian Dahle in the 2022 California governor’s election,

You are thinking of the 2021 California Governor’s recall election. In that election there was no primary election held. It was a two-step process . Number one , voters were asked whether they wanted to recall Gavin Newsom. Then there was a long list of candidates , of which Elder was one who could replace Gavin Newsom if the recall succeeded. Fhere was no primary election to select candidates to replace Newsom.

Voters of California voted not to recall Gavin Newsom. But this was not a situation where Republican voters were dumbasses by picking Larry Elder.

As seen in 2022, Newsom defeated a different Republican by an overwhelming margin.

Vivek would be great. The whole NBC diatribe is wearing thin, give it a rest.

The NBC (natural born citizen) ship sailed long ago.

There’s also some bigotry going on here.

There's a lot of bigotry going on here. As I have said many times, if Vivek Ramaswamy's name were Blake Carrington IV, if his forebears had come over on the Mayflower and if he were a United Methodest, he wouldn't be called a con man, a Soros stooge, a Trojan horse, a Communist, etc.

Trump’s choice of Pence was a disaster, but choosing Ramaswampy would be the worst choice he’s ever made.

Yes, I stand corrected.

I still think Larry Elder had no business entering that race. Kevin Faulconer had at least a slim chance of unseating Newsom. Elder sucked all the oxygen out of the room.

“...both of your parents must have been citizens when you were born...”

It actually doesn’t have to have either parent a citizen. It’s not who, but where. There have been a few thousand anchor babies born in California alone over the years as it is a loophole in the US Constitution.

“Amendment XIV, Section 1, Clause 1 of the U.S. Constitution directs that all persons born in the United States are U.S. citizens. This is the case regardless of the tax or immigration status of a person’s parents.”

https://www.irs.gov/individuals/international-taxpayers/us-citizens-by-birth-or-through-a-us-citizen-parent#:~:text=Amendment%20XIV%2C%20Section%201%2C%20Clause,status%20of%20a%20person‘s%20parents.

And to make matters worse, Obama’s little toy has created another loophole with DACA. California is home to over 183,000 Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) recipients.

Approximately 183,460 active DACA recipients lived in California as of March 2020, while DACA has been granted to about 238,432 people in total since 2012. As of 2019, 47 percent of DACA-eligible immigrants in California had applied for DACA. So their still coming out of the woodwork. And with this mad dash at the southern border, God knows how many new anchors or DACA recipients are sneaking in. That number could easily have doubled or tripled geometrically for both and added more in the southern states like Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona, along with California’s numbers. Scary, ain’t it?

Soros brother funded his schooling.
There are photos of Ramaswamy with WEF founder.
He is a first generation America who has ties with India.
He is not to be trusted at all.

No Trump is not going to pick Vivek for VP. You could put up 10 names and he would say the same thing. 😆

This made-up birther nonsense came straight from the US government USCIS handbook that I was sent when I took my citizenship test in 2003. There it categorically stated a NBC as being born on US soil of 2 citizen parents

No, it doesn't.

My wife had this same handbook.
