Chris Christie isn’t even running to win. His sole purpose is to attack Trump.
While I agree that demeaning DeSantis, especially at this point isn't product, I believe that if Trump is in jail, and we are "forced" to choose somebody else, then our great experiment, this constitutional republic is finished.
The Deep State will have proven that it is they who choose our candidates.
Lots of opportunities for RINO favorites to rise and fall before the primary. NH voters are notorious mind-changers during this phase.
From the outside looking in, it seems the GOP does not recognize that they no longer have a party.
How can this be? All the experts on TV said that DeSantis won the first debate.
DeSantis was a big hopeful. He’s a good executive and governor.
However his campaign has been surprisingly poor. He’d make a good president but it doesn’t matter if he can’t get there.

I also like DeSantis, but I think there are many, including myself, that thought he should let Trump get another shot at the White House.
Also, I think that DeSantis has gotten some really bad advice. It's seems as though he came out swinging against Trump in an effort to woo some of his supporters, but I think that isn't really possible. On the other hand, Ramaswamy has positioned himself as a sort of ally of Trump, in effect campaigning as the 2nd choice of primary voters.
This tired line agin? Desantis is in no way deep state. I’ve posted so many examples of why Desantis is a true conservative.
Yet this line is said on FR so much it somehow seems to be taken for granted as truth, well it’s not.
Here are some my arguments before:

I’ve even made lists of sources that show Desantis is a real conservative and not deep state. It seems to have no effect on the Desantis hater..it’s like their simmering rage makes them have armor that deflects any other thought.
