About two minutes walk away the rock group MC5 musician was arrested by the FBI for having a telescope on the roof, which he used to look at the planets. Feds accused him of spotting police locations to tell the Black Panthers. Laughably absurd.
National Guard guy with a rifle at 45 degree angle rode on the running board of our mail truck for guys like me to deliver campus mail. “Watch for snipers above you. I am serious. Keep watching as you deliver.”
