Usually wears a Che T-Shirt.
Of course, Che was no fan of fags, neither.

Carlos Santana Shared His Thoughts on Trans People Great, I can check that off the list.
Now I just need to get Mark Knopfler's thoughts on borderline personality disorder.

Black Magic Transvestite doesn’t have the same ring to it. Have to change their evil ways.
Of course Lola was a different story.

Been going to his concerts for over 50 years. I knew I was onto something.
Bless you, Carlos.

‘Lola’ was tongue in cheek. Most of Ray Davie’s songs are...

A person can change his or her politics over time.
But you are the sex you are born with.

The first Santana album was one of the first records I got as a boy.

It looks like he has a Bob Marley Tee on in that picture. Marley was a Rastafarian, a religion that believes that Halie Selasie was the ‘lamb of God’ and when he returns he is going to kill all the white people. Ray Davies (the Kinks) wrote an excellent song about Marley’s religious beliefs with ‘Black Messiah.’
There is no doubt Santana is a leftist... just having a moment of truth at this concert.
Frekkin’ great guitarist...

I have a new respect for Muswell Hillbillies. When Davies wrote it he was reacting to living through the complete socialization of Britain. In 2023, I get from an American perspective.

Most of the musicians and entertainers in the world probably lean to the left or further. But this indicates just far the left has gone. A bridge too far even for Carlos.

They did great albums in the late 70s: Sleepwalker, Low Budget.

You get him then. Davies is a very pro British, in a nostalgic way... It probably hurts him to see what is happening to England right now. I doubt he’ll ever go over to U-Kip though.

Lola? Lolita? A very fascinating story and incredible and skillful use of the English language.

As Davies says in that song, he was living right down the street from him in London.. in that period not a lot of blacks in London, most of them like him, Jamaicans...
