Unless it was a bomb on board its not the US or Ukraine.
Way too far into Russia for US/NATO SAMs or AAMs, and way too high for manpads (could have been snuck in by Ukrainians).
And it was a large explosive device. You can see the plane broke up, losing a wing and engine.
It culd have been the center fuel tank spontaneously exploding for no reason at all.< /S>
