Anyone here deal with this…. I woke up completely deaf in one ear. Went to the ENT, had hearing tests, completely checked out. The ear by examination is fine. They said it could be a virus or a benign tumor. Till I get the MRI, I’m on 60 mg of prednisone a day. I’m completely jacked up. It’s the craziest thing.

My ex had a twisted blood vessel wrapped around a bunch of cranial nerves.
The surgery left her deaf in the right ear.
She’d had facial twitching as a symptom of the nerve pinch from the blood vessel twist.

She complained about uncomfortable feeling, pressure sensation and tinnitus prior, so I guess no tinnitus is an improvement.

Yea, no tinnitus is an improvement considering the situation. I guess I should have added that I can still hear the tinnitus in my badi ear. That’s the only thing I hear tho . You’d think that would have disappeared too.
