“No problem with the idea that water is sacred”

It’s an absolutely asinine proposition to say that water is sacred, but this author has “no problem” with it because ice floats.

Have we reached peak idiocracy yet?

What I mean is that it is BEYOND UNUSUAL that of ALL substances that are liquid at room temperature, ONLY water EXPANDS when frozen. And if you don't see the implications of that (in that ice floats NOT sinks) then maybe it is time to remove the blinders. IOW, I don't mean we worship water itself but appreciate the fundamental Force in the universe that created that property in water.
