I STILL see the occasional person wearing a mask; usually it’s an elderly person, and all the folks in Rite Aid Pharmacy, here in East York, are mandated to wear them. Pathetic.

Just yesterday I was talking to a guy in France who has pretty good English. He was telling me that he and all his friends look on the news and see the stories about local riots and anti Macron protests, but they generally ignore those.
The news they really care about is which GOP candidate is at single digit support and who is rising or falling, and they decide based on these numbers whether or not they feel sick from Covid.
Yes, this is everywhere. People in Spain get Covid or not based entirely on US elections. Same thing on Malta. Those guys are totally focused on US vote by mail. Their hospitals fill or empty based on who the Minnesota Secy of State is.
