I agree. Oliver Anthony did not have access to a professional recording studio. He did not have a producer or a mixing engineer. He did not run his voice through autotune or some other gadget.
He simply wrote a song, recorded it with a guitar and his own raw voice, and put it out on the Internet.
Within a week, it went viral and he had the number one song in the country.
This is a huge success story that should be celebrated, not ridiculed.
