Did team DeSantis buy support in Iowa?

Last Updated on August 7, 2023
Laura Loomer exposed Never Back Down PAC, a Super PAC that supports Ron DeSantis, for giving Bob Vander Plaats’ organization, the Family Foundation INC, a massive $50,000 payout ahead of the DeSantis campaign’s Iowa launch. Never Back Down said the purpose of the expenditure was media and Vander Plaats has been pro-DeSantis and anti-Trump since receiving this payout. Vander Plaats claims to be a Christian, despite accepting what Laura Loomer is calling a bribe from team DeSantis.
Loomer tweeted a picture of an FEC record showing that Never Back Down giving the Family Foundation INC a $50,000 payout with a caption that read, “I hope when you guys attended church together that you and @bobvanderplaats prayed to God that don’t go to jail for bribery once an investigation into your coordination is carried out.”
“I’d love to see you both in handcuffs. Tell us. Why did @NvrBackDown24, your Super Pac wired $50,000 to Bob before you started campaigning in Iowa?”
“That’s what we call BRIBERY.”
According to records, the Family Foundation INC is located in Urbandale, Iowa.
Since the payout from team DeSantis, Vander Plaats has been attempting to steer Iowa evangelical Christians in the direction of Ron DeSantis using horrific and untrue attacks against 45th President Donald Trump and his supporters.
Vander Plaats has been pushing the debunked lie that Ron DeSantis is the only GOP candidate that can win the general election. Current polling shows the opposite of what Vander Plaats is claiming. Trump is currently the only GOP candidate that holds a wide lead over Biden.
Over the weekend, Vander Plaats shared a photo with him and Ron DeSantis in a church in Iowa. In the caption, Vander Plaats attacked Trump with a debunked lie that Trump mocks people with disabilities.
Vander Plaats has been using ally and fellow Iowan Steve Deace to spread lies about Trump supporters. Last Saturday, Deace promoted a lie that NationalFile reporter Charles Downs was spreading misinformation. When asked to retract, Deace told NationalFile, “You want me to retract something you got community noted for?”
Vander Plaats’ wild lies and weird DeSantis praise can be linked to Never Back Downs’ payout. Lying and political bribery are highly frowned upon in the Bible. Christians would be wise to steer clear of Mr. Vander Plaats.

And I thought this was the whole reason for PACs...media.
They certainly cannot give money to the candidate.

Vander Plats is another fake, mega pastor. He shouldn’t be taken seriously.

I see you are distressed by any news about DeSanctimonious that is less than flattering.

(Trump has all the right enemies, DeSantis has all the wrong friends.)
To: SoConPubbie
If he did, it was a complete waste of money.
