The assistance that has been provided by the US and its allies to Ukraine is not enough, President Vladimir Zelensky told Brazil’s Globo News broadcaster in an interview last week. As long as Kiev’s conflict with Moscow carries on, no amount of help will be sufficient, he added.
“As long as the war continues, nothing can be enough,” Zelensky told Globo, as reported by Russia’s RIA Novosti.
He is a crack addict. Hard to fathom being in his shoes.
Thought he does have some nice homes around the country...
It is normal advice. If you want to undrstand anothers position, do the thought experiment of putting yourself in his shoes. Its a classic idea. You will find such advice from ancient times, its in Ciceros “De Oratore” as well as in Sun Tzu’s “Art of War”.
Stolen elections have consequences....
buwaya, I don’t give a flying shit about what that corrupt son of a bitch Zelensky does for the sake of “his country”.
What I do care about is that the evil scumbag does with corrupt dealings with our country that enriches HIM and bankrupts US.
We shouldn’t give him ONE DAMN CENT.
Last time I ever wore a pair of size five or six shoes I was four or five years old....
‘Nothing is enough’ for Ukraine – Zelensky
OK
Second the motion. LOUDLY.
There is no basis to call Zelensky an “evil scumbag”.
Based on the documented information made public on the Biden affair, it was the Americans (Biden and the US government) that were the “evil scumbags”, blackmailing the Ukrainian government (of Poroshenko, not Zelensky).
The rest, with respect to US official involvement with Ukraine, is unsourced bullshit. Grand fantasies have been constructed based on nothing.
Ok, be that way.
Which 200B is that?
115B authorized, @85 B sent, of which a lot is overvalued US military surplus. I am beginning to doubt your reliability at this point...
I see him as hostile to our values and interests. You may feel different, and that is your business. This grasping, grifting scumbag is no ally of the United States.
I find your conclusions to be based on very thin information. Or none at all, other than narratives from questionable sources.
You are welcome to feel any way you like.
Me, I am an old retired engineer with a career in building, changing and maintaining complex systems. In some places these are systems that many Americans, to this day, depend on for their lives and livelihoods. I like reliable information.
Many things would not have gone well had I reasoned as you do.
We are going to have to put troops into Mexico to put an end to the cartels on the border. They control that border and if we do not put troops into Mexico, it will get so bad along our border-it already is, that no law abiding US citizen will be able to survive.
The problem with that is..how is this government going to explain a Mexican invasion when it is involved in Ukraine by claiming Russia invaded Ukraine for no reason?..which is a bald face lie. Russia went into Ukraine for much of the same reason we will be going into Mexico. TO DEFEND American citizens!!
We either go into Mexico to snuff out the cartels or we lose what is left of our border.
I’m so impressed with your background, golly gee, I know NOTHING about complex things like that.
Yeah.
I say that many of the huge problems we face in this country today are the basis of people making the EXACT kinds of decisions YOU do. It is people like YOU that have us in the situation we are in.
Somebody needs to manage such things.
They don’t happen without leadership.
I am honored to have been so trusted for so many years.
And I am honored to have worked with so many virtuous and talented people.
To be clear, I was an engineering manager. There is a necessary virtue in engineering. Nature can’t be lied to. And things simply can’t work if engineers and technicians lie to each other. Engineering is “clean” that way. Nature enforces virtue.
Your problem in the US is with all the fields and institutions that are “unclean”, that is, most of them, where man must enforce virtue. The social controls that in a healthy society keep the inherent human corruption within functional limits, have broken down.
There is no basis to call Zelensky an “evil scumbag”.
Sure there is. Plenty of it.
The claims of “money laundering” in Ukraine come from no specific source. This is as much a convenient narrative as the liberal accusations of corruption vs Trump. Its a self-justifying story.
No doubt Ukraine is quite corrupt. It is essentially a third-world country. There are lots of third world countries. Their corruption normally only harms their own people.
The encounter with the US has no elements of Americans being systematically corrupted by “Ukraine”. There is only one specific case, that of the Bidens, and it was they that sought “business” in Ukraine, or rather one specific multinational company. The details are now very clear. There is no information anywhere in that relating to Ukraine, the country, serving as a money laundering hub.
Indeed, the acknowleged money laundering hub of the region is Cyprus. For excellent reasons, which Ukraine does not share.
Then you may want to share that.
Leading the resistance to the Russian invasion is not a good reason.
