Sitting in the waiting room for your name or number to be called, then sitting in the smaller room waiting for the doctor, and after 45+ minutes the doctor comes in and talks to you for 5 minutes and leaves. Is this the great American Healthcare System? Just replace the building and white coats and you could almost picture the same story taking place at the DMV. It seems like year after year the wait is longer and the next appointment is further away. Doctors are coming and going, no one remembers the chart from the last visit, and the system is no longer focused on the patient’s health but instead on pushing out numbers and crunching times to stay afloat. How do our hospitals, which seem so large, end up struggling for profitability?

Medi-cal reimbursement for Dr’s and hospitals is a joke. It’s why there are so many Indian Dr’s, they make more $$ taking medi-cal and Medicare patients then they would make in india.
