For my entire lifetime the teacher's unions have used the excuse of overcrowded classes as to why they could not achieve academic excellence.
Now they have half the class size, plenty of time for individual student instruction and they still can't teach anything other than CRT, DEI, trany indoctrination and the general belief that the student are victims of a terrible form of a republic.
I guess the class size really didn't matter, just their incompetence. But then we always knew that.
There needs to be two different systems in Chicago. Reform schools for the students who are missing classes or acting up. Then you have the regular schools where you have students who want to learn. There will be no sports at the reform schools. I bet you that students will do much better because there will be accountability.
