I think the Prestige representative might have just been an expert consulted to identify the kind of mouse found in the facility. Since Prestige develops antibody based drugs and therefore uses mice, they probably have all of the equipment and reagents necessary to genotype mice.

It would be very surprising if a legitimate biotech company were to be involved with a clandestine lab. Such a scandal could kill a company.

Prestige was born at the demise of a company called Universal Meditech Incorporated, or UMI... which was shut down and relocated, had a fire, etc. And, I believe, made test kits which were recalled, which may be why it went under.
