It turns out that Barack and Michelle Obama were on Martha’s Vineyard at the same time their personal chef drowned under mysterious circumstances.

Obama’s office previously claimed that the former president and his wife were not present at the residence when Tafari drowned. Now they are altering the story to say they were indeed on the property.

But if you are conked on the head by your board, you're not going to be able to press that button.

There's also the risk of accidental inflation. That's the reason I have never plumped for one of those cross-country vests with the automatic inflator. Too many stories about them going off unexpectedly, unbalancing the rider and spooking the horse.

But I heard today that Charles Owen has come out with a protective vest that is NOT inflatable, so I'm looking into it as I am back riding after a 3-year hiatus.

Another shifting stories incident. Reminds me of how the story shifted around the Paul Pelosi “hammer intruder assault” incident. Always very stinky and fishy when Democrats are involved. And funny how the media never seems curious about why that might be.

Okay, now fathom this. What day did 0bama's chef "drown"? Yes, it was yesterday, July 24.

Question to ponder: What the hell happened on June 24... 2015, exactly 8 years, plus one month ago????

Former White House chef, 61, 'drowned during fatal hike in New Mexico', autopsy reveals

Hint: This story is being used among hidden warring parties to send deadly-serious messages. What you see on the surface is not what is below.

How many coincidences are required to make current events mathematically impossible?

What other odd events have occurred over the past 6 months? 2 years? Do you think we are living in "normal" times?

All valid concerns. And you didn’t even mention the main reason I never bought one, what if you push the button and it doesn’t work!

But, any life vest is better than NO life vest. Thanks.

No times are "normal". You wouldn't have liked 1665 at all.

Speculation on secret codes and messages is just that - speculation. I'll have to see a lot more in the way of solid evidence before I buy into it.

The poor guy couldn't swim, and got overconfident. It is a very common story, albeit a tragic one.

I agree. So many drownings could be avoided just by a little common sense.

My kids got sick of hearing me preach it . . . but at least they didn't drown.

I was a competitive swimmer as a kid, and also in high school and as an adult (USMS). I’d like to be trained as a lifeguard someday, maybe as a retirement job.

Maybe my classification is lenient but I call anyone who can get from one end of the pool to another as ‘intermediate’ and anyone who can swim a legal 100 IM as ‘advanced’. At any public pool open swim about 99% of the patrons would be ‘beginner’ by my definition.

The poor guy couldn't swim...

Did you view the link, where there is video of him doing pool laps?

Yes, I did.

I am a Water Safety Instructor, a BSA and Red Cross Lifeguard, and Open Water SCUBA rated.

This guy can barely swim. He is repeatedly sinking, unable to keep rhythmic breathing, and making little progress even with flippers on his feet!

He had no business being on a paddleboard in water over his head without a life vest.

I guess standards in swimming have slipped, like everything else. I was considered a pretty strict instructor, but I just don’t like to hear that folks I’ve taught have drowned.

Not only is this story constantly changing, but there seems to be a concerted effort on social media to suppress it.

They probably had to place him at the crime scene because people on the Vineyard saw him there.

We'll find out that the body was originally found in the Library and was moved to the pond.

Maybe wrapped in a carpet...Vince Forster style

“Maybe they didn’t like his cooking?”

Hard to mess up Big Mike’s steamed Lobster and King Crab legs. Maybe Barry didn’t like the wieners?
