I’m no lawyer but I know the states have pretty much unlimited control of their own elections

Negative, bigbob. That is why Marc Elias was so successful in manipulating election rules and laws all over the country.

NC recently took a case to the Supreme Court, Moore v Harper. Despite the Constitution being very clear that state legislatures have the sole authority to make the rules, it appears that SCOTUS thought otherwise, by saying they do.

Which I find interesting since, after the 2020 debacle, that same SCOTUS ruled that they have no authority over how elections and voting was done, IIRC.

Perhaps someone more legal minded can verify my statement on SCOTUS and the Moore case.

Hope you’re right- the way deal will be to discredit Trump any way they can and a remedy that has to work it’s way thru the court system may be too late to matter.
