To borrow a phrase from Henry V, sort of “ Would we have half the minions left in Afghanistan. “

“The ‘shell scandal’ emerged in 1915 because the high rate of fire over a long period was not anticipated and the stock of shells became depleted. The inciting incident was the disastrous Battle of Aubers, which reportedly had been stymied by a lack of shells.

“The shortage was widely publicised in the press. The Times, in cooperation with David Lloyd George and Lord Northcliffe, sought to force Parliament to adopt a national munitions policy with centralised control. This resulted in a transfer of the Munitions Department from the War Office to a cabinet level position in government, and a coalition government with Lloyd George as Minister of Munitions. In 1916 the long-term effects included the fall of the Prime Minister H. H. Asquith and his replacement by Lloyd George in December 1916.”

> A desperate drug addicted dictator is losing a war… <

To give you an idea how really bad things are, that description could fit Zelensky, Putin, or Biden.

Things sure were a lot calmer a few years ago. I wonder what changed. /s.
Anyway, here’s a question for the Germans who laughed at President Trump back in 2018:

He isn’t a drug addict, he isn’t a dictator and both Russia and Ukraine have been using cluster bombs already, Russia from the first days of the invasion and in war crimes against civilians.

Was your thread supposed to be a tongue-in-cheek thing, or real?

Pictured is Russian Cluster munition dispensing at least 30% duds, the the rest will kill civilians as the intended target.

Hasn’t Russia used cluster munitions from the beginning? I understand they have.

So were these “V-3 Vengeance Weapons” when Russia was using them for the last year and a half?

Or did they just magically become that now that we gave some to Ukraine?

Applying logic used by these people, I certainly hope my city police department has plenty of ammo. I know what mission creep looks like.

Will human civilization end due to something as mundane as an ammunition logistics problem a desperate effort to cover up Democrat misdeeds?

Saw a old video this a.m. of Jen Psaki saying that Russians using cluster bombs is a war crime.

Now we are OK with them when we supply them and Ukraine uses them??

The hypocrisy of this admin is though the roof.
