Do you have a recommendation for a good cigar to replace the R & J? And a good online source?

Cubans are double, triple of even higher—compared with prices just a couple of years ago—and worse yet the European online stores normally require box purchases to get them—and there us a scarcity of previously widely available brands—so it is a terrible time to start with Cubans. (The Cuban economy is in a state of total collapse.) Some of my favorite vendors do not even accept new customers from the US.

So—I would recommend going non-Cuban at this time.

The best non-Cuban source is to get on the mailing list of these guys—amazing sales:

You cannot go wrong with any non-Cuban from Dunbarton or Foundation.

You can order five packs to sample them and see what you like.
