Hysterics don’t like being called hysterics. But the fact is, these girls who are suddenly transitioning are the same girls who would have had anorexia in the 1980s, fainted over the Beatles in the 1960s, started meowing in the 1840s, been tormented by witches in the 1690s, danced themselves to death in 1518, seen ghosts, aliens, or demons whenever her friends did, had seizures and fits when the doctors pronounced it likely, laughed maniacally when the rest of the peer group laughed maniacally, and twitched, scratched, or cried whenever that was the order of the day. Young women are susceptible to pretty much any stupid trend that will garner attention.
