I worked in the pre-Costco photo lab. This was back in the day of printed photos. We received film canisters from all the Price Clubs in the USA. Every photo was visually inspected, with law enforcement occasionally contacted.

This has been going on a long time. But it does seem to have gotten worse with non-American criminal aliens, decrease in Christian morality, and deliberate actions by enemies of the USA.
