If you didn’t create your life, how does it make any sense to think you have the right to destroy it?

Once sincerely given, a gift is owned by the recipient. Whether suicide is a sin is a separate question, way above my pay grade. IMHO

It seems reasonable to consider the gift of life to be in a separate and unique category.

For example, life is non-material.
