Back in the 80s I was a comp sci major at ASU.
Wrote a computer program that one of the depts used for admissions into a major and grad program.
I was at the Ad Com meetings with my printouts. Printouts were in GPA order, but I learned they could do whatever they wanted. Just a majority vote.
