Nothing to do with prisons but I had a creepy sad memory just now of my grandmother who had been dying of cancer in the hospital.

The night she died the family including me were in the room and a girl maybe 17 or 18 was in the two person room for minor surgery and hospital staff came in and said she was going to get another room tonight. They set her up and took her out in a wheelchair. Wouldn’t answer why, just we have another room for you.

She smiled at first then was nervous but went along. They moved her out because they knew my grandmother was not going to be alive by morning. It was true. We were with her as she died.
