His influence was limited I agree, because the Aristocracy was not willing to let go of the power they had.

However, to ensure his ideas would never take root, they buried him in a concrete tomb with a metal fence around him. If you dug him up, he’d probably have a stake in his chest and a brick in his mouth as well.
