I do remember back in 2004 the Russians poisoning the President of Ukraine with Dioxin in his soup.
His face looked like a sponge shortly afterwards.
“All those things led to a destabilized region.”
No, Ukraine has lacked stability since 1991 when it declared independence (which was one of the reasons Ukraine was not going to be admitted to NATO).
“Thank you for making my point.”
No; your point was, as you stated in your previous post, “...in reality the west started the war when we caused a color revolution in Ukraine and Joe Biden got people fired so he could protect his son’s ‘business.’” So, you said “A” (the west caused a color revolution in Ukraine, which was in 2004) and “B” (Biden getting the Ukrainian prosecutor fired in 2016) caused the war (which began in 2014). You either misspoke (and we all do sometimes) or you are ignorant of the facts.
“Oh and there were actually two color revolutions.”
No, there was just the Orange Revolution. What was the “color” of the second revolution, and when was it?
2004 and 2014.
Yes you have proven the west started the war by choosing the leader by destabilizing the area via color revolution.
That was Viktor Yushchenko, who was running for president at the time (his opponent was Viktor Yanukovych, the pro-Kremlin lackey who later succeeded Yushchenko in 2010, and who was ousted in 2014).
Yushchenko was permanently scarred.
I’d say Putin is a moderate. Compare his regime to Biden’s and Putin is clearly more moderate/middle of the road.
“Yes you have proven the west started the war by choosing the leader by destabilizing the area via color revolution.”
Are you really that ignorant? The Orange Revolution began in November, 2004, largely as a response to the poisoning of Yushchenko a couple months earlier (probably on orders from Putin). There was no war for ten years, until 2014 when Russia invaded Ukraine and illegally annexed Crimea. The West didn’t “choose” Yushchenko by “destabilizing the area via color revolution” (hell, Yushchenko was the popular candidate, and was chosen by the Ukrainian people).
You sound like one of those guys (or gals) who routinely show up here on FR and are quick to blame the West in general and the USA in particular for all and sundry events associated with the generations-long animosity between Ukraine and Russia. You sound like one of the “Blame America First!” cabal.
“I’d say Putin is a moderate.”
You would.
“Compare his regime to Biden’s and Putin is clearly more moderate/middle of the road.”
They are both disasters for their respective countries.
There are over two dozen Freepers who bought into the myth that all the events in Ukraine were organized by the CIA and Soros and Hunter Biden and Chelsea Clinton. The same ones believe that Putin is a stalwart defender of the faith instead of being a murderous dictator and war criminal.
The rebels want Russia to be more aggressive and more hostile.
Neocons can’t seem to figure out this basic fact.
You should look at my paying history before you claim stupid crap.
Nonsense, the cold-blooded, sociopathic ex-gangster kid who rose to KGB Lt. Colonel and then to the leader of the KGB replacement, the FSB, who dumped his wife for a dancer and has people murdered, does a ceremonial public image participation in the KGB-connected state religion of the Russian Orthodox.
By golly, your post from yesterday was correct after all.
