Some people aren't made for TV and Whoopie is one of them. She has the face of a tarantula and the body of a bloated tick that's ready to pop. If they put her on Wheel Of Fortune you can start the count down to the end of the show. Even her voice is grating. I haven't watched the show in a few years but Pat Sajack has always been a class act. Whoopi never had even an ounce of class in her 300 pound body.

Ginned up phony romance to get people to watch the movie the movie they did together Made in America. About a black student who finds out her genetics doesn’t match her purported father. She discovers that her real bio. father was a sperm donor her mom used after her legal father died. The mom(Whoopi) wanted a smart black man donor, but got a rich white man’s sperm. Hilarity and sensitivity ensue as the two donors get romantically involved. A real sappy, groaner of a film based an theoretical socio-technical complications.

Agree 100% - my mother said that until the day she died - and she was a hard-core WOF and Jeopardy fan. She also preferred Jack Paar to Johnny Carson, but never stopped watching Carson until he retired.

That said, Pat Sajek has always been a class act, and was an acceptable replacement for Woolery.

Whoopi Goldberg is anything but a class act, an bitter, angry race hustler - who wants to watch that? I too strongly suspect the ratings will tank if she is the replacement.

One of the keys to success of the program has been that Pat and Vanna White are pleasant people relatively easy on the eyes competent.

Whoopass Goldberg has none of these merits.

Besides, there are too many blacks in our faces already.
