All 3 of my kids were diagnosed with ADHD at some point in their childhood, and so were 2 of my 3 grandchildren. If it’s in your family, you’ll see the pattern immediately. My son stopped his meds in his 20s, but my 2 daughters have taken medication periodically in adulthood. My grandson is on a non-stimulant medication.

ADHD is a real thing which involves a deficit of dopamine in our brains. I agree that it shouldn’t be diagnosed without adequate testing/evaluation. However, medication is routinely prescribed for ppl with other dopamine-norepinephrine imbalances such as bipolar disease, so why is it frowned upon for this condition?
