I believe there is no underground complex there because the police used some kind of radar to check.
Of course it is theoretically possible that the police is also in on it, but that sounds too unbelievable l.

There may not have been a rape room located at Comet Pizza, but that doesn't mean there wasn't one nearby.
The art shows they would have there featured abstract paintings of children being abused and murdered in all sorts of grotesque ways. Clearly you haven't seen these images .
And then there is the videos. Back before it became a public scandal, you could find videos on youtube about Comet Pizza, and these were videos made *BY* Comet Pizza.
I distinctly remember two of them. The first featured a young boy urging children to come to Comet Pizza. He talked about how fun it was, and then he said something weird.
He said "You can get your pizza any way you like it. You can get pizza with beans or pizza with eggs."
Who puts "beans" on pizza? Who puts "eggs" on pizza?
The second video featured a drag queen acting as MC for one of the parties they routinely had there at night. At some point the drag queen is talking about the owner and someone in the crowd shouts out "He prefers children!", to which the drag queen laughed and said "Well... we all do have our preferences." and then laughed some more.
These videos were both pulled once the thing became public. I think I still have a link to one of them, but it's a dead link now.
You should read some of the old threads about this stuff. There is enough evidence that a rational man will believe there is something funny going on there.
