“Look at why the government hid the UFO material and information.”

The way you talk just assumes the “material” and “information” actually exists and is what these “whistleblowers” say it is. Why should I assume that???

Did the government classify investigations into “unidentified flying objects”? Certainly. We have declassified stuff from Project Blue Book and the like that proves it, but of course we have no declassified documents that say “we recovered a spacecraft” or “we found alien bodies”. More like “a lot of people reported they saw something strange and here are the reports we collected”.

I think it’s more enlightening to look at the trend of the government releasing material as a whole, not just on this subject. Invariably, the government releases information that is sanitized, which promotes a narrative that they want people to believe, and fights tooth and nail to never reveal anything that goes against the government’s preferred narrative. So if they are releasing anything on “UFO”s now, I would view it through the same lens, and say they are releasing only what serves their purposes, and their purposes and our interests as a people rarely intersect anymore.

The only reason I pursue this topic is to prepare people from the coming shock when they learn that we are not alone in this vast universe. We are also not the pinnacle of scientific and technological knowledge. Many people are unable to integrate this knowledge into their belief systems; and, some have committed suicide upon learning. People of Faith usually take this very badly because they did not integrate such possibilities with their errant Biblical understandings. I have done so. It was not easy.

Just ponder the wonder of God's Creation, its intricacies and mysteries. Try to image a God with more imagination than yourself. Then look at the scale of Creation. Fill in the blanks using the intelligence God gave you.

So if they are releasing anything on “UFO”s now, I would view it through the same lens, and say they are releasing only what serves their purposes, and their purposes and our interests as a people rarely intersect anymore.

Maybe I am missing something. What is their specific purpose for releasing information?
