The Russian rebels have tanks, artillery, mortars, APCs, trucks, observation drones, kamikaze drones, rifles, pistols, and ammunition for all of the above.

The rebels are well trained, well motivated, and appear to have excellent target intel.

An army, whether stationary or on the move, requires logistics support on a daily basis.

The Russian Air Force has apparently gone full AWOL.

The Russian rebels could have MANPADs, but I believe the Russian Air Force is AWOL because this particular area is under the Patriot umbrella (PIF's post #15).
